Things I am Grateful for: Week #11

Let’s be honest: writing this article this week is quite difficult to me. BUT there is a “but”: it still helps me facing that the whole negativity I feel, is actually not so negative. Aka: I am able to distinguish and realise that there is still something positive in my daily life.

Let’s start from the very first number one: seeing someone you love smiling. Today I woke up and saw my boyfiend next to me sleeping with a smile on his face as I was cuddling him. Making someone happy through kind actions makes me feel really good!

Number two: I saw my nephews again, and noticed how my eldest nephew is growing up so fast! In less than two months he will start going to the kindergarden, while his little brother is now already six months!

Number three: the requests of the customers that may be funny, or make me smile.

Number four: enjoying lunch breaks with my colleagues. We all have made some abroad experiences, and/or some of them have international roots. Therefore, it is vey interesting sharing our thoughts and experiences.

I was one of those people who thought that good things happen only to others, and I felt resentment. Now I try to focus on the good things I have, reminding myself that I should enjoy them when it is possible.

It would be fantastic if people shared their gratitude towards their own life, so why not starting myself with this project?

If you want to read the previous “Things I am grateful for…” or maybe some other articles of mine, here is the link to my profile: Laura Papavero — Medium

If you enjoyed this post, I invite you to share your opinions and your personal things you are grateful for. Start writing down your own list. You can inspire yourself when things are not going so well, and you can also inspire others to know better themselves. If you know your own resources, you can recognize them in others.

Thank you.
