Me and my boyfriend — so cute, aren’t we? :)

This week has been quite intensive. However, there is still something I am grateful for, so let’s start with the weekly chart!

  1. As you see from the above picture, I spent a lovely Sunday at Lake Ghirla with my boyfriend, his cousin and his girlfriend and their son. It is such an enchanting place!
  2. This working week has been very challenging, and despite the difficulties, I went on on doing my best by resolving what I had to solve. I feel a little bit stressed, but I am happy that I always try to find a solution. Of course, in the working environment you understand that not everything depends on you. So, you can commit a lot for a project, but then it may turn out that it doesn’t work as you wished…unfortunately, that is part of the game.
  3. My boyfriend’s family is very supportive and kind to me. I feel I have acquired a second family, and I can be myself without any judgements.
  4. I tasted some delicious Sicilian pastries for the first time, and they are absolutely delicious!
  5. We finished watching Lucifer. It was a captivating season, and I really cried when a beloved character of the series passed away.
  6. I went to my grandparents’ home to say goodbye to the house. They are no longer with us, so the house is for sale. It breaks my heart to know that this place full of memories — a place that my grandfather and his sons built with their own hands — will have an owner which is not a relative of ours. Despite this feeling, I found some beautiful roses in the garden, which reminded my that there is still life after the end of the big journey. This is the message that somehow all the family members we have lost are still with us.

I was one of those people who thought that good things happen only to others, and I felt resentment. Now I try to focus on the good things I have, reminding myself that I should enjoy them when it is possible.

It would be fantastic if people shared their gratitude towards their own life, so why not starting myself with this project?

If you enjoyed this post, I invite you to share your opinions and your personal things you are grateful for. Start writing down your own list. You can inspire yourself when things are not going so well, and you can also inspire others to know better themselves. If you know your own resources, you can recognize them in others.

Thank you.
