Things I am Grateful for: Week #8
New week, new updates
1.I’ve waited this week for a month: two days ago I got my first vaccine dose! It is very important to me that me and my family gets vaccinated, since we unfortunately had to face two losses last spring.
The vaccination centre in which I got vaccinated is very efficient and well organized. A huge shoutout to all the people who work and volunteer to help fighting this invisible enemy!
2. I was able to see my nephews after a while. I’ll tell something that almost everybody says: children grow up so fast! I cannot share any pictures of my little Schatzis on Internet, but I am a very proud auntie of two beautiful children.
3. I went out with my boyfriend, a friend of mine and her boyfriend. We had to arrange and re-arrange it several times, but at least we did it! We spent a nice night eating and chatting together.
4. One day I arrived at the railway station on my way home, when I realised that some hostess were giving ice-creams for free. OMG I took one and it was absolutely delicious. They made my day! I remember I really thought: “I will surely include it to my weekly gratitude list!”
5. I introduced my boyfriend to some other relatives (we are a big South Italian family) and I am happy we spent an afternoon together.
6. I finally met in person my job advisor, who gave me useful tips last winter. I am glad I was able to talk to her in person and not only via videoconference.
I was one of those people who thought that good things happen only to others, and I felt resentment. Now I try to focus on the good things I have, reminding myself that I should enjoy them when it is possible.
It would be fantastic if people shared their gratitude towards their own life, so why not starting myself with this project?

If you enjoyed this post, I invite you to share your opinions and your personal things you are grateful for. Start writing down your own list. You can inspire yourself when things are not going so well, and you can also inspire others to know better themselves. If you know your own resources, you can recognize them in others.
Thank you.
